The ITC award for Outstanding eLearning Faculty is awarded to a distinguished educator, who is an exemplary member of their community and nominated by their colleges president/CEO or senior administration representative.
Victoria Hutson has been an educator for over 33 years, and has taught online for over fifteen years. Since 2001, she has designed and taught multiple art history lecture courses as well as highly engaging, technology-rich online studio art courses, which include digital photography, digital drawing, digital painting, and 2D digital design.
During the nominating process, Hannah Erpestad, Dean of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Lake Superior College, described Victoria as an educator who is constantly evolving...always with Her students' needs in mind. Victoria is committed to creating online learning experiences that are significant and lasting for the student. We believe it's about time that she is recognized for her remarkable accomplishments as an outstanding eLearning Faculty member who integrates fine arts with technology, moving full steam ahead, with a keen eye on new student-friendly technologies.
We, at ITC would like to once again congratulate, and thank Victoria Hutson for her enthusiasm and dedication to eLearning!
