eLearning 2013 is the friendliest and most comprehensive annual distance learning conference you will find for eLearning practitioners. It is the one place where you will learn who is doing what, what technologies they are using, what works, and what doesn't.

Exchange your great ideas with colleagues from across the country and around the world. Learn about new and successful educational strategies, technologies that work, and special techniques for teaching at a distance. eLearning 2013 will feature pre-conference workshops, keynote speakers, and vendors exhibiting the latest eLearning technologies and services, and nearly 70 one-hour concurrent sessions.

Begin the year by exploring the scenic San Antonio River Walk, a five-mile network of quaint bridges and walkways that wind along the banks of the San Antonio River, one story beneath downtown San Antonio.  Lined by restaurants and boutique shops, the River Walk connects the Rivercenter MallArneson River Theatre–La Villita,  the San Antonio Museum of Art, and the Pearl Brewery.  San Antonio also boasts a plethora of art galleries, the McNay Modern Art Museum, the San Antonio Zoo and SeaWorld San Antonio.

Remember the Alamo!  The Alamo is located just across from the Hyatt Regency San Antonio.  The Battle of the Alamo was a 13-day pivotal battle in the Texas Revolution in 1836, in which 100 Texian settlers defended the Alamo against more than 1,000 Mexican troops under the command of General Antonio López de Santa Anna.  All but two of the 100 Texian defenders were killed. Santa Anna's perceived cruelty during the battle inspired many Texians to join the Texian Army. Buoyed by a desire for revenge, the Texians defeated the Mexican Army at the Battle of San Jacinto, on April 21, 1836, ending the revolution.
